where to buy butcher paper for wrapping meat

The butcher wrapping paper came well packaged, on time, and seems very well-manufactured. If I had one minor quibble, it'd be with the manufacturer's claim that it's "ideal for wrapping gifts". Given that people are often wrapping products with print or images on them (e.g., books or really just about any product box), using only one layer of this paper will cause the print to 'show through', spoiling the surprise a bit. Two layers hides it perfectly. It is thicker than regular, patterened gift-wrapping paper on its own, even with just one layer. It's the lack of a pattern (I prefer it plain like this -- it's actually why I got this product :) that results in greater translucence. Double-wrap, and you've got a great looking gift. If you want to single-wrap, and keep the gift a surprise, you'll need to use a plain box before you wrap.


I'll likely still re-order brown butcher paper when the time comes (unless I find a heavier weight -- say 60# or more), given the quality of the product and overall positive purchasing/delivery experience with the vendor. I just think that for the uninitiated, the 'ideal for wrapping gifts' line is ever-so-slightly misleading. Everything I expected it to be. Came promptly in the mail. This will be nice to have around for wrapping gifts and so many other projects. I am glad I ordered it with the storage tube as it will keep the roll in good condition. Very pleased with the product. Great solution for Christmas wrapping paper! Simple, versatile, customizable, and good quality. Comes in a cardboard tube that makes it easy to store. Plus it’s made in America .

I thought I had already written a review but this is again showing up. Will definitely purchase butcher wrapping paper again. The butcher wrapping paper is exactly what one would look for in this type of paper. Fast shipping as well. Paper not as thick as I anticipated as I was looking for it to be slightly thicker to use as wrapping paper. It will have to do for wrapping gifts this year. So far I've used it for making large signs for an office party, and for wrapping gifts. A+ for both! Great Kraft Paper & Great Service!!! Would buy from these folks again! We buy this for a toy for my potbellied pig. She loves it. Hours and hours of entertainment. Very thick, strong wrapping paper! Used it to wrap Christmas presents then let kids draw a picture on each present, so the person receiving it got a drawing from the kids!


Very nice butcher wrapping paper and I love that it comes with a tube to store it in. Already wrapped a few presents with it and it is perfect!! Great buy! Perfect for what I needed. I used this as table covers for a make and take essential oils class. It’s a great weight, very sturdy, but still pliable. This is a good amount of kraft paper for a fair price, I would definitely order again. Very fast shipment. This kraft paper is nice and exactly as described. Very nice seller. I chose the paper because it had a storage tube, which is very sturdy. It works perfectly as the dust cover on the back of canvas art.

Kraft butcher paper is great for craft and wrapping

My toddler loves YRYM HT butcher wrapping paper. Sturdy and doesn't rip when he is writing. Used the paper to cover my table for our seafood boil. Poured the food right on the table and nothing leaked through. That was a major win because with other papers it soaked through and fell on the floor. As expected. Good for craft projects with toddler. Paint doesn’t bleed through. Very pleased. My daughter uses this for painting. It's cheaper than buying computer paper! Great for kid crafts. We've painted, colored, cut this kraft butcher paper and it's perfect. Just what my husband wanted for wrapping up meat to prevent freezer burn ,I will use some for counter top protection when cooking ,,cuts cleanup time and I think I can use YRYM HT butcher wrapping paper for some of my crafts as well ,the roll is pretty big !! This came quickly, the paper is thick, nice and clean white paper. The description said good for wrapping small gifts... That was what I bought it for but you can see the gift though the paper. I had to wrap it 3x in order to not see what is wrapped.

I like using YRYM HT butcher wrapping paper for the bottom of pet cages. I can cut it to the right size. It's just as absorbent/healthy as newspaper, but it looks better. Cheaper than buying the pet liners.  No complaints about this quality paper. We bought it for our kids' art activities. They love to draw on it, and it’s great to be able to vary the length of the paper, either for their easel, or for drawing a whole outline of themselves so they can decorate it. Lots of fun at a great price. The paper works great. I had to sew some together for a larger project and it held up to the task.

I use YRYM HT kraft butcher paper in my shop for sketching ideas and protecting surfaces. I applied my own furniture paste wax to it if I need a glue resistant finish. The product was delivered as described and anticipated. It works wonderfully! Nice and thick paper. Used to wrap presents like snowmen and it worked great! Love this butcher wrapping paper - the students here at the school use it for banners, and it is great! I keep my 2 and 4 year old grand kids while their parents work and this paper is invaluable. We use small pieces for individual pictures and large ones for murals and body tracing. It’s also great for protecting the table from play dough, paint projects, and other crafts. I will definitely be buying more of this. We love using this paper for our toddlers to color on! Great quality and rolls easily! It arrived perfectly and on time. I am actually using it to create a timeline that I can see visually for a novel I am working on. If there is some left over, I can use it for meat or "luau" paper for events here in Hawaii. I will still use it but not for gift wrap. Used this on pork, steaks, chicken and in all cases after thawing for use the paper never stuck to all. It literally bonded to the surface so much so that the meats were ruined. Even tried washing the paper fibers off but the meats were ruined.

why uses non stick grill mat to prevent from sticking

I've been grilling since before I could drive, and consider myself an amateur 'grill master'. I can test meat temperature by feel, and dial in a perfect done-ness to thin cross-cut shortribs as easily as a 2" bone-in ribeye. I can flip fish without breaking and routinely grill vegetables and fruit for sides and desert right next to piles of meat. I must say, I haven't yet tried non stick grill mat on the grill yet, but after using it the first time this weekend I'm excited to give it a go!

I bought YRYM HT miracle BBQ grill mats instead for use in my new RV. Being one who loves outdoor adrenaline activities (mountain biking and rock climbing, among other things) and living in Colorado, I recently had a 4x4 van converted to an adventure RV, and since I boondock (read: no hookups) everywhere I go, being efficient was critical. So I ditched the propane and went totally diesel and solar for all my heating and power needs, including a Webasto X100 cooktop for a stove. During a hunt for the perfect stove I ran across a video ad from a small RV company Down Under who exclusively uses these diesel stoves. It looks like a typical glass-top electric stove, but instead has a ceramic element that gets heated with a diesel burner and quickly gets up to extremely hot temperatures. This company gave a professional chef an RV for a week and asked him to cook whatever he liked, and to use the stove in a number of ways. He demonstrated using this stove as a grill by throwing a non stick grill mat on it, grilling up burgers on it while toasting the buns next to the burgers just as you would on a grill. He advised getting a thick, quality non stick grill mat due to the temps this stove was capable of putting out.

After reading reviews complaining about maximum temperatures of other miracle BBQ grill mats as low as 450 deg F, and melting holes in them after a few uses, we ordered a YRYM HT Non Stick Grill Mat and headed out for a weekend in the woods, and put the mat through its paces. We seared meat on it, made quesadillas, toasted bread and tortillas while making chili--no matter what we used it for, it was absolutely fantastic. The mat took high temps really well, no smoking, scorching or melting. We never needed to oil the mat, it was completely nonstick regardless of what we cooked on it. It also cooled down extremely fast, no worries about it damaging anything in our small RV after cooking. And cleanup? I don't know that we even had to wash it, as food came off so easily and left no trace (we did anyway though, better safe than sorry!!)

Couldn't be happier with it, I'm now excited to try it out on my Weber Genesis E-330 which puts out a TON of heat. I have zero worries about melting after putting it directly on the stove glass top in the RV. I'm also excited to make pizza on it in the RV; I'm pretty sure if I can come up with a good cover, it will get the dough grill-perfect and make really tasty pizza while camping!
